Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
Studio074 (operating as tenex social) is committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. We operate under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law.
1. What We Collect
Account details. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide (such as a company name or profile photo).
Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription and billing address, but we never see or store your full card number.
Content you create or upload. This includes brand assets, captions, media files, and any other material you add to the platform or authorize us to publish on your behalf.
Connected social accounts. When you link a social media account, we receive the access tokens and profile data needed to publish on your behalf. We only use these permissions to provide the Service.
Usage and technical data. We automatically collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, device type, browser, IP address, and timestamps. We use this to keep the Service running and to improve it over time.
Communications. If you contact us for support or send us feedback, we keep a record of that correspondence.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate and deliver the Service, including scheduling and publishing content;
- process your subscription and handle billing;
- respond to your support requests;
- send you transactional emails (receipts, alerts, account notices);
- improve the platform and train or refine our AI models using anonymized or aggregated data;
- detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content to train external AI models without your consent.
3. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the Service may not work correctly if you do.
4. When We Share Information
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We work with third parties that help us operate the platform, including Stripe (payments), hosting providers, and analytics tools. These providers are authorized to use your information only to perform services for us.
Social platforms. Content is published to the platforms you connect. Those platforms receive whatever is necessary to complete the post (caption, media, scheduling data).
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or a request from a Canadian regulatory authority.
Business transfer. If Studio074 is sold or its assets are transferred, your information may be part of that transfer. We will notify you if this occurs.
5. Showcasing Your Content
We may use examples of content published through tenex social in our marketing materials or on our website to show what the platform can produce. You retain ownership of your content at all times.
If you would prefer we not display your content publicly, email [email protected] and we will remove it from pages we control. We cannot remove content that has been cached by search engines or indexed by third parties.
6. International Transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside Canada, including in the United States. When your information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected consistently with PIPEDA, such as using contractual protections with providers.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal or business obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that data will never be compromised, but we take reasonable precautions and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
9. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information;
- withdraw your consent to certain uses of your information; and
- ask us to delete your account and associated data.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If you believe we have not handled your information in accordance with PIPEDA, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
10. Marketing Emails
We send marketing emails only with your consent, in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails such as receipts or account notices.
11. Children
tenex social is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will let you know by email or through a notice in the platform.
